tough one. they're both arguably the worst in their respective series. nsmb2 has dlc coin rush which extends the life a bit, albeit not by much, but on the other hand mk7 has a hilariously weak single player and not much outside of that. so in the end you have to ask yourself - which do you like more... karting or 2d mario?

i personally prefer mk7 just because i'm a kartaholic and online play is enough to keep me playing in spite of the crappy content. nsmb2 is just too short, and if you don't enjoy coin rush, it has no lasting power.

Not sure why people hate on MK7, it's one of the best MK games ever made.

It had 32 courses, 16 being from older games, really good music, Best visuals for a MK game yet, hangliding is nice and not overdone.

Battle mode, multiplayer....it has a lot to offer.

I'd get NSMB2 if it wasn't for all the dumb coins gimick.

I'd get sick of the coin sound by world 3.
