Well for one thing it was ridiculously easy. Its predecessors offered a good challenge at some points, but the 3DS installment was insulting.

The game itself is easy, but there are a lot of ways you can challenge yourself - especially with Coin Rush. Plus, solid platforming has always been more important for me.

Plus NSMB Wii and NSMBU had some great levels. NSMB2. Not so much.

The Ghost Houses, 5-A, 2-2, 1-A, Flower-1, Star-1, and 6-4 are some levels that may disagree with you.

Also it's replay value is pathetic. Other than collecting 1,000,000 coins there's no incentive to replay it.

There's no incentive to play any Mario game - except for fun. Which is exactly what NSMB2 is.

This is actually one of the bad Mario games I've played.

Not as good as others? Sure. Bad? No, far from it.

Oh dang, I wasn't supposed to reply to that. <_< *runs*

Look who migrated from the NSMB 2 board. And look - he even uses the same excuse to explain why this romhack is his ultimate we dream!

And MarioFan keeps taking the bait!

I would be taking it if I knew arguing with him wasnt allready pointless :P
