I'm sure this has been asked before, but why do demos have limited uses?

Have you actually used through all your uses on your demos?
Have you?
If you have, did you not buy the game?

Now close your mouth.

Did it ever sway my decision to buy the full game? No.

Does limiting a fragment of software ever amount to anything SIGNIFICANT? No.

Does coming off as some willfully ignorant Reggie Fils Amie to such triviality net you any attention, let alone a pay check from Nintendo? NO.

Now, take off your blinders, let your fanboyism peter out, get a clue, and close YOUR mouth.

It's the amount of times the developers of the games wanted people to try out the demos

I don't know, but it's not like you'll play a demo that many times anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Ah, that's it. I meant to shorten it to this:

Due to the idiotic logic of the defenders and developers of this bs, demos are limited. They honestly believe limiting a portion of full software will help the consumer to purchase the full version much easier.

But I can reflect back in the PS era, and not only play the many unlimited demos that came with the many demo disks when you bought a PS1, but I can also recall them not ever having ANY kind of profound effect on whether or not I'll but the full game they are a demo of.

Awwww, the little pessimistic five year old is having another ass aching and bellowing another stale one liner because another one of my posts he sniped made his little arse itch again.

I guess no news of another Golden Sun game gave him that upset stomach.

I wonder as well.

Demos are supposed to get people interested in the product. But it feels like such a waste to deplete uses when not interested in the demo at the moment, as uses are much more valuable when you're actually interested in the demo. But without having tried the demo and experienced the game for real, the current opinion is that the game is not interesting enough (otherwise you obviously would've bought it already). It's basically a vicious circle that leads to no sales.

If the demos were unlimited, I would've surely tried them, and I'd have surely gotten interested enough in at least some of the games to buy them.

I don't doubt that at least 1% of the 3DS owners thinks the same as I do. And considering the amount of 3DS owners, that's ALOT. Lots and lots of lost potential sales.

I totally agree with you man, these fanboys will defend anything even if it is completely stupid.I mean I love Nintendo, but **** limited uses on a demo is completely pointless.

Btw, demo uses is decided by the developer/publisher.
The Final Fantasy Theatrhythm demo has infinite uses.
