So two great games are being released the same day. The problem is which to buy first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or Lugi's Mansion. This will be a tough one. But also it begs the question will I even be ready for a new game or will I still be in grips of Castlevania.

I doubt castlevania will last you 3 weeks. Its supposed to be a 20 hour game.

my personal opinion
gets luigi's mansion first
the mystery dungeon is probably longer and we've had more of those and this is the first mansion game since the original

This is so true. As a kid/teen, a 20 hour game could be beaten in a matter of one weekend. Now as a married adult with three kids and a fulltime job, 20 hours is probably around a month. I actually welcome the "short" games.
This is just my opinion. I don't care if you agree with me or not.

This feels like my life as of late :D

Used to have no prob clocking 18-20 hours in a single sitting - takes forever to get through just about anything now. Which is good as one gets amazing mileage out of a game purchase.

Granted I would not turn back the clock - family/being an adult is one of the best phases of my life.

I have Mystery Dungeon, and i have to say:

It's worth it!

The story is really interesting, the Pokemon models look awesome, the cutscenes during story mode too.

Post-game has some fun dungeons and other things besides them you can do.
