I always get physical copies, since I'm a sucker for collections and whatnot :)

If your 3DS is bricked through an act of god or whatever it's game over man

Same here, main reason I'm getting the physical copy is because of the pre-order bonus.

This. I hate how nintendo hasn't made profiles yet...I mean, if we've bought $200 worth of games on there (I haven't, but I have spent quite a bit), and 3DS dies,....that would REALLY suck.

I went mostly digital with my Vita cause it has PSN, over 500 items downloaded since 2008 are still there

Will avoid digital buying with the 3DS until Nintendo creates shop accounts and lets me share games between my systems

While I agree the 3DS' eShop content could be better managed, I prefer digital if it's the same price or cheaper just because it takes up physical space. Sure, I love having the box to show off and whatnot, but my NES collection alone totals over 100 boxed games and a few more in generic cases. It's gotten to the point where if a physical copy of a game is worth more than a digital version (Skyrim and Halo Reach for the 360 are good examples) I'll sell the hard copy and go with the download.

I'm getting mine through amazon, so I'm not getting the artbook T.T
