I somewhat agree. They do keep things fresh and there have been changes as the hardware evolved but I think X and Y will be a nice change of pace.

What's with these rehashed rehash topics?
no i tried resetting game i even start violent slamming cartridge on wall but all it does make static noise when i put into DS, the problem not fix! -ReconUnit

the gameplay? yes (meta changes after every gen when new movepools and typing are introduced)
the story/characters are usually the same (or they use different set of sterotypes)
