Rate my haul

Never played a Pokemon before but picked up black 2 and Layton and magical mask for 10 bucks each. Also found radiant historia for 30. Both off of Craigslist with cases and manuals.

Bought my blue/black xl off Craigslist for 120. It was less than a month old w a 3 year warranty from Walmart and a copy of pm:ss and soft case.

Also what size sd card is the biggest I can use to replace the one that came with my xl?

32GB is the largest that naturally works, but I think you can use larger (64 or 128) if you do some kind of special format.

Otherwise, a decent haul.

32 gb sounds more than enough. What's a common download size of a retail game? Btw I havent played anything nintendo since GameCube and I am slowly collecting all the great games that came out for gba and ds. I guess I'm a little late to the party.

I think games are about 700-1000 MB. So, downloaded retail are somewhere in the ballpark of 1 GB. You can see how many "blocks" downloading a game will require by checking it out in the eShop.

I think the conversion rate is ~77 Blocks fit into 10MB.

Like I said in op. never played a poke game before. Still if I don't like it I can easily triple my money selling it.
