I probably should have clarified. NoJ has had quite a few sales. The next link was for the latest sales that happened over New Years. There have been other sales on other 3DSWare titles and stuff as well.

I am not looking to blame anyone, the tax is just a big reason why I, personally, do not buy digital on the 3DS. Combined with the fact that there is no easy way to transfer your content, I'd much rather buy a physical copy of the game since it would end up around the same price as the digital copy, would not take up space on my SD card, and won't be lost if my system broke and I am not able to transfer to another.

Nope when I have the chance for retail I'll always go retail and if I don't have the chance to go retail at all I'll stop buying games =/

A discount on a Mario game that barely covers the tax is not what I'd call a sale. I'm talking about deep discounts that actually make the digital purchases appealing, like what you'd get on PSN or Steam.

I wont go all digital until I am forced to do so. I don't know who's right. Nor should you care. If there is any chance it could hurt your games, avoid it.

There hasn't been a Mario game on discount....that I remember.
Most of the discounts for JPN were ~20-25% off though.

I'm going all digital, and I feel a bit cheated that I never had the option before. I'd much rather store my games on the SD card than carry around a bunch of cartridges and have to swap 'em out.
