There's nothing wrong with GameStop. They get the same new games as everyone else and usually have more in stock. If you don't want to fully support them just avoid buying used games.

Then don't? Ask for one in the shrink wrap. Also you could tell if it was new or used by the Save Data.

Someone's a bit paranoid. While I'm also not a fan of GameStop's recent trend of unwrapping new games, they don't replace new cartridges/discs with used ones. They could get in major trouble for that. Literally the only thing they do is take off the plastic wrap, that's it. No need to be so paranoid.
Employees are allowed to rent games that aren't sealed. Even the "open, but new" ones can be rented. So it's probably used no matter what. So if you buy a new game there, make sure it's shrinkwrapped, unless you don't mind buying a used game for the price of a new one from that worthless company.
