you should be fine without 1st parties... but having a nintendo console without playing what put nintendo in the map (its 1st party games) is punishing yourself

Well, maybe. There are quite a few good games that aren't Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, etc. for the 3DS, sure, but I'm guessing you wouldn't like any of those either. Except maybe a few. Well, the other person posted a short list, so if any of those interest you, go for it. If not, just stay away.
