I've been a Sony fanboy the pass 7 years. I was up on the gba for a lil bit.....so yeah I went got me a ds for $30 on Craigslist so I'm looking at all the good games(mainly from Nintendo and square Enix) Pokemon white 2 is like 34$....white is $30. Then you go onto eBay and they are selling for 26$ by bidding(might as well go to GameStop and buy it right away)

Now old Pokemon games should be about $20 at GameStop. I notice pokemon red, blue, green, blue, orange, gray for the gba are still selling $20 on eBay lol wow

It's still in the transition from Tokemon to Pokemon.

Popularity and Backwards compatibility with Gen 3. Ignoring the first two generations so far we have most the pokemon easily obtained on the DS, but it's easier to have copies of the Gen 3 games in most cases.

Yeah, Pokemon games (be it GB, GBC, GBA or DS) games have always been in high demand online. They're definitely not rare or anything, they're just really popular. The GBA (and to a lesser extent) DS games in particular are a little pricier because the online used market is flooded with fake GBA and DS cartridges with internal save batteries that don't work (among other things), so most people selling legit copies usually sell them for a premium.

It's gotten a bit higher in the past year since Gamestops have been slowly phasing out the sale of GBC/GBA games, so the only reliable avenue of purchase is going online.

How do they connect with older games?? Like the pokemons you catch transfer over from a gba game to the ds game?
