Ok so i am about to finish Resident Evil Rev which is my 2nd 3ds game i purchased. The 1st game i had was New Super Mario Bro.. Went down to target last night to pick up Zelda oot but then i seen Mario Land next to it and it got me wondering which i should get.. I love mario games but i thought maybe i could get into zelda. I wil be honest i lose interest pretty fast in some RPG games that are too hard .

If you lose interest in hard games I say go with 3D Land

I'm assuming you haven't played OoT on the N64, then?

Get it. it's absolutely stunning.

The story, while cliché, is amazing because of how it's executed. I won't spoil anything but it's really, really good.

Gameplay was phenomenal for its time, and is still pretty enjoyable today. And the dungeon design shows Nintendo's genius game design at its finest.

btw, Zelda isn't an RPG series, it's Action-Adventure (with some RPG, FPS etc elements mixed in).

EDIT: Oh and the game isn't difficult once you get used to it. The only difficult part of the game was made far easier in the 3DS version.

If you havent.played OoT, its the best.Zelda period. 3D Land is fun but i ran through it.pretty quick and.didnt feel like going back much. OoT has the main story and the master quest which is just as.fun. Ocarina is kind of.tough first time through but just look at walkthroughs for ideas of where to go.
Personally I'd get Ocarina. The 3D is beautiful.

I was referring to the Water Temple.

I never really considered the Water Temple difficult, just confusing. To each their own, though. I'm sure I'll find out how they made it easier when I get it. I have games I haven't played yet that I want to get first.

oot has more lasting power imo. still working my way through master quest, and occasionally boot it up just to hunt down a hear piece or skulltula or something.

Zelda is the better game in my opinion. So I'd say you should go with that first and maybe buy Super Mario 3D land later on.
