Will Fire Emblem: Awakening Be Rare?

Can probably only get one game for now, and Tales of the Abyss is available in my area. $29.99 new, and it's becoming pretty scarce. If FE will be rare too, I will just have to go for that..

Maybe in a few years? Heck if I'd know.

I would say FE will be rarer than Tales, since Tales is still readily available everywhere I look.

Zelda is an ACTION-ADVENTURE, not an RPG!!!

It's published by Nintendo so I doubt it, it will be rare at release though until they get more out there. Get tales First if that is a game you really want, that will be hard to find (already is for the most part)

Physical copies of Fire Emblem games are odd... there's usually a point (at least around where I am) where the games are basically bargain bin price or below - I've seen copies of Path of Radiance at $17, Shadow Dragon at $10, and Sacred Stones as part of a two-pack (or really three-pack) with Marble Madness / Klax for $15, although this was all at the same Walmart I got Borderlands at for $5 so that's probably not standard. But then a year or two later, you'll find used copies, even with just the disc/cart, start going for as much or more than the original retail price. It's ridiculous, really.

Hopefully the current preorder fiasco will convince Nintendo to flip the other way and massively overproduce physical copies of Awakening based on the perceived high demand, although the fact that Xenoblade is still GameStop exclusive makes me think that's not really likely to happen.

It's really a moot point anyways since FE will be on the eShop from day one, while as of right now Tales of the Abyss is physical-only.

Ah. I totally forgot about the eShop. I will definitely go for Abyss first, then. Thanks.
