Registering on Nintendo Club.

Here's a question; I have a pre-owned 3DS thanks to my fiance buying me one last year. I can't register it because I assume it has already been registered. I don't have a Nintendo account because the only game I have is Ocarina of Time, and that has no serial number despite it being new. If I bought a new game and used that to create the account, how would I link my 3DS?

I don't really want to miss out on anything, but I can't simply buy a new 3DS.

So basically, you're just asking how to link your 3ds to club Nintendo?

Start off by signing up.

https://club.nintendo.com/

https://club.nintendo.com/link-shop-account.do

On your 3ds connect to eshop, look around the settings for CN/Linking, they'll have a log in form/ fill that in/ leave it alone from then on..

and... that's pretty much it. o.o

Games you download from eshop will automatically register ; just be sure to check (from your compy) for the surveys before they expire.

Retail games, you will have to manually register yourself.

*It doesn't matter if your 3ds is pre-owned //If it's already linked to someone else's CN account, you could always clear that.

(you'll only miss out on the system points)

Afraid I can't help with LOZ , /don't own that one/

(Forgive me, if I misunderstood ^^;)

call nintendos 800 number and tell them that you bought zelda new but it didnt have the pin number inside and that you want to register it with club nintendo for the coins.they are very helpful and understanding about things like this.i never had a problem with their customer service.of course you could always go into a gamestop and find the zelda game on the shelf and look inside for the pin number and copy it down or take it and register it (JUST SAYING).

Thanks to both of you for the replies; both were what I needed to know. Spot on.
