Looked like it came with a physical copy of the game. Why is our version digital?

because when the LE Fire Emblem 3DS came out in japan, Nintendo did not offer digital games yet. That is why the Super Mario 3D Land bundle and the Monster Hunter Tri G 3DS bundle s (not XL) still came with the physical cart.

if you notice now, their new Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter Tri G and New Super Mario Bros 2 bundles, all of them are digital. Because they NOW offer them.

(look near the bottom)

and from now going forward, I can almost guarantee you that ALL packed in software for the 3DS will be in digital form. Nintendo saves SO much money by doing that. (not something I like though...I like my physical copy! :P)

I was actually REALLY surprised that the Wii U actually came with a physical copy of Nintendo Land hehe

You guys are forgetting that the Japanese version is a bit more expensive than our bundle. It was priced at 19,800 Yen, but convert that to $$ = around $220.

I guess for others paying the extra $20 and getting a cartridge is better.
