Does the XL have that shiny gloss on it like the regular model?

Well then I might have to upgrade. I do get the feeling Nintendo put that gloss on just to make people upgrade to the XL though.

The matte finish is one of the main reasons I bought it. I hate the slimey smeared look that the gloss finish gets on the classic 3ds.

I prefer the gloss because it's shiny and I like shiny things. Everything else is better on the XL, though.
