Do you still put a cloth in your 3DS even if you have a screen protector?

I'm getting a 3DS next week and I know if you have a screen protector applied you can still get those line marks. Can you wipe them away? And is there a chance that it would permanently mark the screen protector?

I've still never had scratches or marks on my 3ds and never seen one that has.

My god, I have those stupid line marks on mine and I always like to keep my clean but knowing That I can't get them off me want to put a bullet through my head. A clean 3ds is a happy 3ds.

If someone knows how to get rid of them I will love you forever.

Pssh, I haven't had to worry about this since I stuck two 360 stoppers in the corners of the top screen. Easiest fix ever.
My old account got better.

I've read on these forums that the original 3DS (the one I'm getting) is more prone to the scratches than the XL

^ Yeah it is. I can confirm it with my current one. But it's an easy fix for me since I just wipe it once.
I'm planning on getting the FE:A 3DS too, so I'm gonna need another screen protector soon.

I've got some lines on my launch 3DS, and while they are slightly annoying, I ignore them. I figure I'll just transfer when I find a new color that grabs me!(Fingers crossed for green! Maybe they'll grant my wish when the new Zelda comes out...)
