How are the DS games on the 3DS XL?

Well i'll be getting a 3DS XL soon for fire emblem and other games. I own a phat DS and a couple of DS games and I can get a DSi for about $50 so i'm wondering if I should buy a DSi too just for my DS games or just buy a 3DS XL.

I'd say either a DSi XL or a 3DS XL. They look fine on my 3DSXL to me.

Guys btw do DS games fill the screens of a DSi XL? What's the best DS edition just in case I buy one too.

Yeah, they completely fill DSi XL screens.
