Persona 3DS?

I've been hearing rumors of this all over these boards. Isn't the Persona series exclusive to PlayStation though?

I don't believe you've heard rumors all over because I'm all over and haven't seen any rumors. P4A is on the Xbox do it's not PS exclusive.

no reason why they cant bring it to whatever system they want (just a question of $)
Around the time of the 3ds launch they announced a "persona 3ds" as a placeholder to help generate hype for the system. There hasnt been any word as to what it would be.

What if its a Crossover game like FE x SMT? Or OMG what if its a continuation between 3 and 4 and what happens at the area and is a 3DS exclusive different from Persona 5?

Kinda like Resident Evil REvelations was compared to that Resident Evil 6?
