Anyone downgrading from the XL to the Fire Emblem bundle?

Just curious. I bought the Mario Kart 7 blue XL bundle like on Dec 31st 2012 then about 2 weeks later i hear about the Fire Emblem bundle. Saw it, loved the way it looks and pre ordered it. Gonna give the XL to my fiance so she'll have a 3DS also. Anyone else do this? or downgrade form an XL to a reg 3DS? Now ill be mad if they release an XL limited editon bundle later in the year...lol.

Fire Emblem Awakening looks darn good on the XL.

Its the design on the top of the system, it just looks so cool when compared to the blue XL.

Technically I am. I had a blue XL but sold it a couple months ago when I wasn't using it as much. I pre ordered the bundle because I was going to pick one up again when EOIV was released, but then heard about FE and the bundle. The size doesn't bug me, it's really a trade off. Classic has better speakers and portability while XL has better bevel design and has a larger screen. Plus blue is my favorite color and I know reselling a 3DS Like this in the future is really easy should I need/want to.

Why is it downgrading? Some people might not prefer the XL. The XL doesn't enhance performance or add new features like the DSi or even the DSLite did. The DS Lite made the screen brighter which is a huge plus. The XL just makes the screen larger and has longer battery life which can be remedied on the original for a mere $10.
