Is Tales of Abyss worth hunting down for?

Given how rare and expensive it is. I have never touched any game of the series, so I have no idea how it's like.

It's not rare and expensive. There are about 6 copies nestled neatly in a row on a shelf in my local GameStop store for $29.99.

Yes. It's a really good game (if you like jrpgs). It has only one problem, lots of missable sidequests. So if you don't mind missing a few, or checking a faq that lists them, I'd say go for it.

It's by far the best game on the handheld, so I'd say yes.

Its alright. An average jrpg. Nothing particularly amazing about it and it even really starts to drag in the mid-late game because of a lot of backtracking. Its still worth one play through. I've got a copy sitting at home collecting dust after beating it once.

That. I felt like I was just wasting my time after a while, I never beat it and probably never will.

Try finding a cheaper one. Or rather, try finding another one at all.

Seems too expensive for a traditional, or average even, JRPG. I've had enough of traditional (or generic) JRPGs.
