Current guess online is that one will happen within the next 4-5 days there either will be one or one will be announced.

I hope it's soon as I'm planning to buy an XL soon. I want one as soon as possible, but I also don't want to risk buying one and have Iwata announce the 3DSi or something next day.

If we go by the release trend of the previous Nintendo direct, we will have one before the end of the month, most probably in the 2nd half of the month
