I agree that buying digitally isn't bad... not bad at all...

Show me where I said 50% off. Oh wait, I didn't.

Digital games should be at least $10 cheaper, if not more. All the stuff I said, plus the fact the retail store is not taking a cut, that adds up to at least ~$10 a game.

At least Sony is trying to make this standard.

Even 10$ is not something that will ever happen, not on release day, ever. And it doesn't happen on my PS3 last time I've checked with Sony. I saw some 1st party title at 5$ off max, nothing with 3rd party yet, it's always full price upon release.

Not the brightest bulb in the socket, eh pal?

Not ever? Okay! Happens a lot now, look at the deals Sony/Microsoft offers, with $20 credits for pre-orders, etc.

And I am guessing you don't own a Vita, and haven't looked at the prices on there. Continue your misinformed zealotry.

My my, 3 posts in a row where you just try to insult me directly. I think no matter what I say, you'll always find me stupid, so I'll quit with this post.

Obivously I don't own a Vita (which I would like to, but for now, I still wonder if the console will survive at all, it's pretty much doomed at this point unfortunately). The deal they offer there, I admit, I don't check, and only saw them as a way to save the console (and/or to try to make people forget that they got ripped off with the purchase of a proprietary card). What I'm basing my judgement is indeed PSN on my PS3, where there's no "special deal" if you compare the raw price of the game on retail VS digital. I'm checking weekly too.

And I stand by my point, 10$ off for digital releases VS retail, without any kind of weird promotion, will never happen. Not in a LOOOONG while, so you can already forget it for the entire life of the 3DS. So if you plan to go digital, expect to ALWAYS pay those price. If you don't like it, guess what? Just don't do it. I don't feel ripped off paying full price as for me NOT having things to store on my shelf IS A PLUS, not a minus.
