Super Mario 3D Land was one of the only games where I actually wanted to turn the 3D on. It actually helps you judge your jumps a little better. Not to mention it looks gorgeous in 3D. --- All that phoney Beatlemania has bitten the dust... PSN: ButtersThaatsMe WiiU: JonnyD Xbox: JonnyD1080
Paper Mario: Sticker Star has some of the coolest 3D effects I've seen on the system. Resident Evil: Revelations also has very strong 3D, especially if you max it out.
Both great examples, but the maximum (in-game) setting in Resident Evil: Revelations made my eyes all boogley lol. The game looks great with "normal" 3D, but is really impressive - though disorienting - at maximum. --- "I dare you to make less sense."
Mario 3D Land looks amazing with it, the 3d enhances gameplay.
There are a few others I PREFER to play in 3D I feel they look better: Paper Mario:Sticker Star, Mario Kart 7.
Then there's others that I play in 3D only SOMETIMES, Zelda:OoT:3DS, Resident Evil: Revelations, NSMB2.
I NEVER use 3d in RE: Mercenaries. too many small details that look "jaggy" and its such a fast hectic game it's hard to hold the 3DS completely still so you don't get double vision.
It seems that some graphical styles are uniquely suited to really shine and look incredible in 3D(e.g. 3D Land, Sticker Star), on the flipside some types of games the 3D is incredibly unflattering(e.g. Mercenaries) --- If you were a boss I'd deathmatch ya in a minute!
