You'll have no real problems if you advance cautiously, instead of rushing through the floors.

The beginning has always been pretty much the most daunting part of these games, since you don't have any skills or equipment yet. The dungeon crawling becomes more of a routine after it.

I've never even heard of this series until I saw people talking about this game on this board about a month ago.

If it's a good RPG, I'm all for it.

Only recently started the series as well - but I never noticed the series was dropped in EU...
