Any way to increase the 3DS's volume? (using headphones)

I have awesome headphones (the 300$ bose noise canceling ones), and even at max volume the 3DS sound is just so low. I want a good theater experience when I have the lights off and stuff but being able to barely hear or enjoy the music or sound is killing it.

Is there any way to increase the 3DS output? Is there a cheap method to do it exteriorly?

Get a pocket amplifier, there is no secret volume switch.

Here are instructions on how to build one:

Or you can buy professionally made pocket amps.
