Is Advance Wars really that good? Because, I never played any of the games for the GBA/DS.

Ever played FE Shadow Dragon online against another person? 6 fully leveled characters, that's it. It's a glorified predeployed game. AW has far more PvP strategy in that you start with nothing.


And that's even before you consider the fact that you can replicate the FE PVP experience in AW by playing predeployed maps anyway.

With FE, you have to worry about perma-death; where as Advance Wars you could just sacrifice as many faceless units as you please.
