How do I transfer a save file to SD Card? (Paper Mario)

#1CeldaPosted 2/7/2013 8:10:02 PM
So I am selling my game of Paper Mario, but want to copy the save file to my SD Card in case I get it back again. Then transfer back from SD card to the new cartridge.

How can I do that? Thanks.

You can't. At least, not yet.

Magically turn your 3DS and Paper Mario into their Japanese counterparts and wait till March.

In other words, it'll probably be a year or so before you can do that in the States, and it may never come to Europe or Australia.

You can use third party tools like NDS Save Adapter to backup DS/3DS saves

As far as I know newer games have encryption on saves and actually corrupt if you attempt to back them up. Be wary.
