One can only hope.

For those who don't know, that's MGS for Game Boy Color, but the original name in Japan.

It's an amazing game. Great campaign, VR missions, remixed campaign missions, and even multiplayer. It's obviously a labor of love. I still have my cart, but I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Yep this is one of the best classic handheld games ever made and most MGS fans have never played it. Dunno why they don't release it.

3DS is still young, so there's plenty of time to do it. It wasn't directed by Kojima, but he supervised, and the MGS composer since MGS2, as well as Yoji Shinkawa, MGS' artist, also worked on the game. It's very well made.

I mention this on every Club N survey I submit. I mean Super C is a great game, so is Gradius, but Ghost Babel is amazing. How they pulled that game off on a GameBoy Color cart is just fantastic.

Virtual console for 3ds looks so sad, super slow releases and not much to look forward to in the next few months.

Makes me think Nintendo forgot about the 3ds with all the Wii U excitement.

Good animations, detailed and colorful areas, story and dialogue are a page right out of the series canon, sense of direction doesn't keep you looking around forever, game is fast paced, and nearly 200 VR Missions keep you occupied for a while.

Though it takes its gameplay model from the two MSX games, it uses MGS' level of quality to make the game fun and refreshing. It's a lot faster paced and avoids some of the annoying flaws that plagued the original two games, notably the relentless backtracking.
