Looking for a deal for a 3ds, want one! I'm going to buy one regardless but I just want to check if anyone knows about any deal going on so I can save some money!

Besides craiglists? I'm not very good at finding these deals!

Your best bet is probably eBay.

I think Newegg still has the Mario Kart 3DS XL bundle for $200 w/ free shipping.

How is the XL is it worth it?

Warning: A lot of text coming up.

I just recently got the XL, and it's truly great.

I used to own the original 3DS. While it was nice, I found myself getting hand cramps.
I also didn't like the glossy finish, since it attracts dust and fingerprints.
The Start, Select, and HOME buttons felt really cheap, and can be hard to press.

The XL is more comfortable to hold, has the nice big screens, better buttons, better stylus placement,
and the matte finish doesn't attract dust and prints. The 3D slider also clicks on and off, while the original doesn't.

The one downside is that the speakers on the XL seem a bit less powerful than the original 3DS speakers. But it's not deal breaking.
If you have really small hands, it may be heavier/more uncomfortable to hold. But if not, then you should be good.
You can only choose between Red and Blue, as far as North America 3DS colors go.
The blue actually looks really nice in person. If you are a fan of the color blue, you shouldn't be disappointed.

Long story short... I'd say the XL is worth it.

I'll put it to you this way:
When a friend showed me his 3DS XL, and I hadn't ever seen one in person, I was so impressed with it (I played the FE demo), that I went and bought one as soon as I could.
(I also bought Fire Emblem as soon as it came out)

This seems like it'll be a great year for the 3DS. A bunch of RPGs are coming out this year too, which was a big factor for me.
