Is the 3DSXL worth the extra $30? Give me some pros and cons here...

I'm about to buy a 3DS, but I don't know which to buy. XL or the cheaper normal one.

please for heaven's sake use the search bar... someone posts these at least once a day. Not to mention g-faqs is full of xl fanboys. So if it really comes down to it google it. Sorry but I'm tired of seeing this topic daily, no offense to you.

Everything is better except for the speakers The speakers are not as loud as the regular 3DS but it is not a big deal.

its funny how XL comes with inferior speakers. If Nyko was smart they would release a 3DS XL Battery Extender with a speaker amplifier.

Yes it is. The only real con is that the speakers are not as good on the XL as reg 3DS but having the bigger screens more then makes up for it. I owned a normal 3DS first, then got the XL later and i would never go back to the smaller screens.

What I'm curious about is whether the bigger screen is better or worse.

The games I assume are designed for the classic 3DS screen. Would it being in the XL version mess with the graphics in anyway?

ugh fine... lured in by the dumb xl fanboys. This kid here... lies. Simple as that.
speakers = s***
backlight = s***
build quality = s*** (faulty back plate is really common
screen = pixelated

in exchange for:
-bigger screen
-better placed stylus

you decide... wasn't hard for me

Ive bought 2 XLs. One for me, the other for my fiance, both from GS and neither one has a fauly back plate. My friends also upgraded to the XL and guess what? No faulty back plates either. Lighting is better then normal 3DS.

Screen is not pixelated and the backlights is not a issue. Notacos was probably trolling or something cause everyone in here thinks the 3DS XL is much better.
