My 3ds turns itself off when I have it completely open.

It honestly bothers me how I can have it open half way while playing it. However... when I have the system completely open, the 3ds shut's itself off immediately. I had my system for 22 months, and this is the first problem it has given me. Do you have any idea what the problem could be? I do not -_-

Maybe you severed a ribbon cable with excessive opening and closing of the 3DS.

Send it in or buy a new one. That's what anyone is going to tell you.

There's a chance where it may need a fresh restart. My 3ds shut off on me and wouldn't turn back on, it had a full battery.

Just press and hold the power button till it shuts off. Don't turn it back on for 20-30 mins.

It'll take some time for it to power up again. Hope this helps
