Anyone find the Start+Select+Home buttons awkward to use?

I dunno, it's like I have to have exact precision over where I press, actual buttons being smaller than the letters that are suppose to show where the button is.

Yeah, I don't know what Nintendo was thinking with that design choice.

i love them personally. i hated the circle buttons that have plagued the handhelds since the gba and wish they would us the phat's style, but this is close enough. perfectly in the center, and easy to press, even if the original's are a bit awkward.

Criticizing Nintendo's design on this board is a bad idea, but I agree with you TC.

They take some getting used to on the original model. I prefer the new buttons on the XL, much easier to press.

Ehhh it depends how you criticize. I can accept that TC might fond the placement odd, at least he isn't being a total **** about it.

I admit, it's more something I've just had to get use to. I'm so use to the originial phat DS though, so the switch has kinda been weird considering the time I've spent on my old DS.

I also kind of think that the D-pad would have been better switched with the circlepad, but eh. Mostly just because of what I'm comfortable with.

No! I honestly cannot understand how people have such a big problem with them. They aren't in the way, you can never really press them by accident because 1) right at the bottom 2) they are flat. To me they are absolute fine!

Edit: Also I've never had a problem with them NOT registering by my actions. Are you trying to press them on the side or something? Press them in the middle and they work fine.
