GhetsisPosted 2/14/2013 8:53:42 AM | And apparently they only showed Mario characters, and said nothing about an RPG mode...
So are they murdering Mario Golf like they did Tennis? --- For those players who don't speak Australian, we have provided an English translation of the previous scene. Do you want to replay the scene? |
GloryChaosPosted 2/14/2013 8:54:35 AM | Camelot is working on the game so take that as you will. --- Brawl FC - 1332 8069 6690 "Gravity Rush is 1458 Mb the 58 Mb should more then cover the missions/dialog/character models" - Demondog666 |
Ghetsis(Topic Creator)Posted 2/14/2013 8:59:02 AM | Yeah, I read that, but Camelot also worked on Open, and....well... --- For those players who don't speak Australian, we have provided an English translation of the previous scene. Do you want to replay the scene? |
EngineR2Posted 2/14/2013 9:01:14 AM | I Wouldn't get my hopes up. Since there's no related Wii U title, I doubt that Camelot has even considered connectivity, let alone the fact that they probably are purposefully avoid RPG elements again. --- Not changing sig until Toad, Jill and Drill Dozer are playable characters in the new Smash Bros. |

TerotrousPosted 2/14/2013 9:24:06 AM | Camelot also worked on Mario Golf Toadstool Tour, which is by far the best Mario Golf game. Even the RPGs can't really stand up to it. --- http://terosclassicgaming.blogspot.com/ - Watch me beat "GBA Summon Night Swordcraft Story" http://www.backloggery.com/tero - My backloggery |
noutBrPosted 2/14/2013 9:26:09 AM | I must be in the minority here because I personally don't care at all if the Mario Golf games are in RPG form or like the N64 and GCN versions. If I want an RPG I'll go play an RPG and I mainly play Mario Golf for the creative fantasy course design and fun golf gameplay like in the HSG games. --- m e g a m a n f o r e v e r |
TerotrousPosted 2/14/2013 9:41:17 AM(edited) | Also, the main problem with Mario Tennis Open was that its balance was awful and its gameplay was gimmicky and lacked depth. It wasn't the lack of RPG mechanics. --- http://terosclassicgaming.blogspot.com/ - Watch me beat "GBA Summon Night Swordcraft Story" http://www.backloggery.com/tero - My backloggery |
Hoffy_Posted 2/14/2013 9:45:11 AM | Camelot made the Gamecube Mario Golf and that game is fantastic. Can't wait for this one. --- Currently playing: Fire Emblem: Awakening, New Super Mario Bros. U, ZombiU, Nintendo Land, Bayonetta |
Gogo726Posted 2/14/2013 9:46:34 AM | I'm excited for this. I enjoyed True Swing Golf on DS and wondered why Mario Golf never had a DS game. It sure could have benefited from touch screen controls. --- Jackass Thompson doesn't approve of Wii Music. He's on a crusade to put an end to sax and violins in games |
