That's probably just the initial setup. donkey Kong always starts out innocently enough, but then he gets the shaft somehow and goes apes*** (no pun intended).

Companies rarely have only one set of people working on multiple games at once, so I'm not convinced that they will be rushed jobs, cause they may not be.

I'm sure they will go regardless. I for one enjoyed the look of the Mario VS Donkey Kong game and the Mario & Luigi one.

Just found out about this. Looks fun.
May be the 5th game? in the series, but gameplay changes every time.
