Isn't Rune Factory 4 and Fantasy Life basically the same game? Assuming we can't afford both which game has better variety, longevity, and challenge?

Basically, which one is the better of the two?

ugh

i love animal crossing

i was going to try out rune factory because I never played it before

but fantasy life too?

fffff...

rune factory or fantasy life...choices choices...

If it is true, then I'll only get two copies of Animal Crossing and one each of Fantasy Life and Rune Factory. My brother will just have to Rune Factory it up solo, or buy another copy for me in that case.

Sorry guys, it's not true. Why? Because if it was true, it would make me happy. And we can't have that now can we? Level-5 has conspired to make me miserable.

If you ruin this for us, so help me . . .

What's the difference between the games? I've dabbled around in Rune Factory a little, and while I never really stuck with it, I basically liked the game type. I like the idea of "life sim + RPG elements" gameplay. Fantasy Life seems... similar, but I'm not sure I understand what kind of game it is, exactly, and how it differs from Rune Factory.

I'm actually looking forward to both. So that makes 5 upcoming 3ds games I'm excited about.

Fantasy Life is closer to Animal Crossing than Rune Factory. But as for me, I'll get all three eventually. I'll probably pick up Animal Crossing first.
