playing OOT makes me wish I played it as a kid

needless to say this game is amazing, loving it at 27 years old. I just know I would have eaten this up as a kid. problem was we had a PlayStation, my mum no way would have bought us another console lol. I do remember loving the fishing, use to play that at a friend's house when I was younger.

Don't worry, you got to play the superior FFVII instead.

I played OoT for the first time back when I was 11 years old, it was only the 4th 3D game I'd ever played at that point and needless to say, it blew me away.

I was a playstation kid myself but I have no regrets.

I used to watch my friends play oot all the time and loved to watch them. I would also play a little bit on their files, screwing around, fishing and riding epona. To me it was just that fun to mess around and find skullatullas or just have fun without progressing the story.

I finally got to play the whole thing through on my 3ds, and its great.

I had both Ps1 and 64, no wonder Final Fantasy and Zelda are my favourite game franchises.

I actually can't remember how/when I got my PS1 but I remember getting my 64 vividly. Birthday present and a whole night of Pokemon Stadium with my friends.

I was 14 at the time when it was released in late november of 98' and got it (and my new N64) as a surprise a month later in late december a week after my 15th birthday :D.

To my knowledge i had never played a LOZ game before it. at first i was like "hmm... what is this?.. i don't think i've ever heard of Zelda before..". tried it anyway with my cousin for the first time...

I can't even explain the feeling this game gave me at the time. it was like nothing i had ever played before. no other game i had up to that point previously had my attention more going forward.

I would come home after school, get the homework and whatnot done and out of the way and would then spend many hours on this game with my cousin. this was the game EVERYONE was talking about at school!. good times that i miss dearly. i've played this way too many times to count for the past 14+ years, N64 version, both GCN versions and the 3DS version.

in my opinion it was and still is the greatest game i've ever played in my now 29 years. nothing will top it!. NOTHING!.
