So I have a Vita (don't stop reading yet) and I've been told that it can damage the sides of the screen if you play PS1 games for very long when they don't fill the entire screen. I was wondering if anyone had noticed anything like this occurring when DS games are played on the 3DS with the black boxes on the sides.

Lol. Whoever told you that is fooling you. Not only is that stupid but that cant possibly do any damage at all to the system.

Huh. Interesting. I think what I was told was that it had something to do with using the pixels in the middle of the screen while the others did nothing. Claimed it would cause the outside of the screen to yellow (or something like that). Anyway thank for the help.
