a 3D Sonic game.

Which saddens me. A 3D Sonic game on the 3DS would be awesome.

You know what would be even more awesome than a new Sonic game for 3DS?!

Practically anything.

Sonic Team seems to have gotten their act together, actually.

Dimps, on the other hand...

Not sure what version of reality you're in; my version of reality had them using 2D as a crutch for the last few years and not getting any better other than managing to get rid of game-breaking glitches.

Don't spit on Dimps. When Sonic was at the bottom of the barrel, they were the only ones still making good Sonic games. Advance trilogy, Rush, Rush Adventure and Colors DS are awesome games. Generations 3ds is great considering Sega only gave them a few months to make it, Give them enough time and ressource, and I trust Dimps making good Sonic games WAY MORE than Sonic Team.

PS: There's nothing wrong with 2D Sonic over 3D ones.

Sonic Generations on consoles was amazing. You obviously haven't played it.

Generations improved over Unleashed and Colors's formulas by not making the Modern sections a complete boostfest. I do agree that they should put less emphasis on 2D, though.

In my opinion, most of those were average at best. Plus, they created the abominations known as Sonic 4 Episode 1 and Unleashed SD's daytime stages.

Generations is way more of a boostfest than Colors.

Yeah, you're right. Probably should've just said Unleashed. >_>

Still, I feel that Generations's 2D sections were better than Colors's.
