i still say better safe than sorry
unless you need those points right now to get a prize you want, save it for july

I dont buy too many games so i dont redeem them unless the combined points will be more than 600.

Wait till July when the year ends. I also recommend NOT adding any more games or doing anything with Club Nintendo until it resets. When they moved everything over from Nsider to Club Nintendo on that first year, I had about 3 years worth of plat status, but only 600 of the coins actually counted. I basically got cheated out of 2 years worth of games I could have just saved....
