The DS had a lot of good games that should have been great but just... weren't as good as I wanted them to be... I think it had a lot to do with the hardware itself holding them back--either technical limitations or the tendency to mold a game around touch controls...
Whereas with the GBA, devs just accepted the hardware limitations and moved around it, I think DS devs sort of tried to overcome it, and pushed where it had no way of excelling... if that makes any sense.
Ds wins in thurd party support, gba wins in first party support.
3ds is a mixture of both, recieving goid thurd party and first party support. --- 3DSXL FC: 0087-3600-6980, PSP/PS3 PSN ID: snoteat01 WIIU ID: Chaosking Currently playing: Xenoblade, SMG2, Dissidia012, Radiant H, TOTA3DS, R&CHD, OkamiHD
