It depends on your area I suppose. It doesn't charge tax for me.

That totally makes sense. Nintendo charges a tax of which they receive no part of because they are greedy!

Are you being ignorant on purpose? Your area charges the taxes, not Nintendo.

it makes them greedy, because they should front the tax themselves when theyr not paying costs for the box and cartridge, and theyr not discounting the digital price.

I doubt it, people actually think Nintendo charges the tax on their eShop purchases. Just wow.

They don't. our wonderful states and government does. i always love paying those odd amounts instead of just paying a flat fee. it's fun :).
