Nah hidden stuffs are still in games these days...
you just have to pay for them. Capcom calls them DLC.

i did system transfer but the games are still on the old sd card. you have to do system transfer and then find a computer with an sd card slot so that you can move the files from the old sd card to the new one. it bugs me because i don't have that and i'm selling my old 3ds on saturday. as far as i know, there isn't a way to redownload them.

Or just switch SD cards.
Or go into the eShop on the system to which you transferred, go to download history, and download from there.

I'm selling the SD card with the old 3ds and I want to keep the big one. I didn't know there was a download history. That sounds like something for an account based console. Thanks for the info

Your serial number is your account. The system transfer swaps them from one serial number to another. Your serial number is how Nintendo would swap from your old one to your new one for you if something happened to your 3DS that requires replacement but it isn't under warranty. It's not exactly 2013 worthy technology, but it's more than some people give Nintendo credit for.
