I really wanted a 3ds dkc game but I was really hoping for a new game. I'm still gonna buy it because it's an awesome platformer but unless they announce some new features i don't see many people running to get this game day 1.

It would have to have new features for me to even consider buying it. I already beat it on the Wii, but it's great for those that don't have the Wii version.

Because it is Nintendo.

its more of a port than remake. they may have changed/added things but still. at least we can finally roll with the press of a button instead of shaking to roll

change the motion controls and make they game easier and i'll be fine.
Seriously dkcr was basically the lost levels of the series.

I liked dkc 1-3 because they realized challenging doesn't have to mean masochistic.

Actually I and quite a lot of other people were using the Classic Controller for Donkey Kong Country Returns on the Wii. You just have to be dedicated enough.

I found the main levels first run to be somewhat easy though imo

Yep. You gotta hack the system because the controls are so bad rofl.

That's what defines a remake -_-.

You should have already hacked the system years before Donkey Kong Country Returns even came out.

That's what defines a remake -_-.

port with extras =/= remake

remake would be to remake the game from the ground up with better graphics, sound quality, lots of new features, etc.
