To be honest, It took me around 5 hours in Monster Hunter Tri before I got the hang of it. The learning curve is huge, so I can understand people not getting into it because they don't want to spend 5 hours on a demo. --- "Can you draw two M&Ms fighting with katanas?" -Me http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/9606/mmfight.png -aDubiousNotion |
BlizzkonPosted 2/21/2013 4:04:58 PM | Probably gonna skip this one for MH4 even id that game also takes another 5 years..this game truly sucks solo..i know that i will never play with somone so not a buy for me.. |
Mariofan15Posted 2/21/2013 4:06:38 PM | I think it's allright since I've never played a Monster Hunter game before. The controls are in no way clunky like what's been being claimed. Sure, the camera is wonky but not that bad. --- Pokemon White 2 FC:0691-4768-6135 |

Not because it ruins my experience with the game or anything. BlackPhoenix127 posted...Lol, look at all the noobs who can't take a little learning curve. PinkyHaLaPosted 2/21/2013 4:13:03 PM | I thought the demo was great, must be a lot of first time MH players on this board. |

I'm not saying that Monster Hunter is or isn't hard to get used to playing, but if it only took you five hours to get the hang of it then you really have nothing to complain about. |

I could stand the learning curve if at least I would have enjoyed the experience, the demo didn't make me want to play this game, at least now I know that this game is not for me. This. --- abbyhaxxor<3I always rush here to tell GameFAQs my problems! |

This. And, calling people "noobs" because they can't take the learning curve is just stupid. |
NettoSaitoPosted 2/21/2013 5:33:42 PM | MH is really a game that grows on you, give it a few more tries before you decide if you like it or not. Also I recommend trying out different weapons as well; not everyone will like each of the weapons. --- 3DS FC - [1203-9218-7780] | XBL - [NettoSaito] | PSN - [NettoSaito] | Nintendo Network - [NettoSaito] Netto's Game Room - http://nettosgameroom.blogspot.com/ |
KittyPuppyPosted 2/21/2013 5:40:41 PM | I don't think the learning curve of the game itself is the main problem with this demo, Capcom just couldn't have done a worse job showing the series to new people. It doesn't even hint at features being in the full game, like using the CPP or making weapons and armor in any way. It makes Monster Hunter look emptier than it really is. I suspect that this demo will turn more people off than on to it and those that disagree were already sold in the first place. |
