Ugh, a new Zelda isn't happening people. At least not on the 3ds. If anything it'll be on the WiiU. They would have made it already if they were doing one.

It certainly does have the power to emulate n64 games.


It's controls, not power. Any emulation would receive modification to make it work, and it would likely be inferior to the original product.

i'm pretty sure 3ds hasn't even reached it's second year yet.
march 2011 iirc that means two years next month.

plus 3ds vc didn't launch until several months after 3ds did...

At least they are coming. I've never even been able to properly emulate them on PC (always have sound issues). Shantae is the only other game I want on VC besides these two.

Whatever. The fact is that Nintendo owes us, the loyal consumers, a public apology for taking so long to give us these games and leaving us in the dark.

To bad it was confirmed though. Zelda is Nintendo's 3rd most popular franchise (behind Mario & Pokemon, but Zelda is clearly better than both of those) a new Zelda game will be made for 3DS.
