What is this blue light that's always on on the bottom of my 3ds xl?

Tried googling but I just suck at it. What is it and how can I turn it off?

Sleep mode notice. Turn off the 3DS to turn it off.

Unless you are a troll you mean the power light? It's to tell you the 3DS is on. It's also a indicator to tell you it's on standby when you close the unit when it's on.

If the blue light is the power light then what's the green light on top of my 3ds.... Not a troll, there are two lights on

blue is power, the orange one next to it turns on when it's charging, the yellow light on the right side indicates if wireless is on and the green light on the hinge indicates if you have an unread message (go to the home screen and touch the icon that looks like a green speech bubble)
