Just as good as the original, in my opinion. The way you go about solving the puzzles is completely different from Pushmo, so it feels like a new experience. Many find it to be more challenging than Pushmo, so if you found Pushmo to be on the easy side, then you should definitely get Crashmo.
Its a lot more difficult. You don't have to finish nearly as many puzzles to unlock the ability to get new levels though. You can use the 3DS browser to save qr codes to your sd card and put them in the game as well as use the camera like in Pushmo. Since its on sale you should probably just go ahead and get it.
