Thanks everyone, I picked up super mario 3d land and was aiming to buy fire emblem, but the three stores I drove to were sold out, apparently some type of shortage. Any idea how much space it takes up on the SD card that comes with the 3ds xl?

If you go to the shop, before confirming a purchase it will tell you how many blocks it needs and how much is left on the card. If you plan on downloading multiple full retail cards I highly recommend buying a higher capacity SD card, as the included one is only 2GB. (when you do and you switch them, simply use a PC to copy all the files from the old one onto the new one.)

You can't go wrong with Mario 3D land though. That game is very, very cool.
