How rare will Fire Emblem get?

#1MegaSlimePosted 2/26/2013 12:20:48 PM
I pre-ordered the game from Frys, but I wasn't sure when they were going to have the game and ship it. The game ended up being in stock on Best Buy's website so I got it from them.

I tried to cancel my order from Frys, but these guys make it so awkward to cancel from them. I had to send a email to try to cancel. I guess it never got canceled and I got a confirmation today that my game has been shipped.

So... I'm getting a 2nd copy of the game. How rare will the game get? Should I try it to sell it now on Amazon or something, or should I hold onto it and hope for something like Xenoblade?

Not that rare, I assume the shipping issues will be fixed at some point.

Since you can get it on eShop, you'll never sell it for much higher than that price.

That's not true though.

Isn't it though?
Like Tales of Vesperia on Xbox 360 went for 100+ for physical copy at some point.
Then when the Xbox shop released it for digital download, the physical copy went back down to bout 50.

Short term only maybe. In the long run if said game gets removed or something a physical copy could still cost a lot more then the digital copy. Especially if said buyer is a collector. You can't collect digital copies.

keep it sealed. And you'll be able to sell it for more than eshop price. Who knows when though and it may not be very much more.

At some point, it will become rare, like all the other FE games before it. As it was already mentioned, digital copies hold no physical value.

I actually couldn't find it anywhere, myself. Checked a Kmart and found 3 copies out in the open (instead of being behind the glass) marked for $34.99 (as opposed to the $39.99 MSRP).

If you're talking physical copies, based on how gosh durned hard it was for me to find SS Blazing Sword and RD, preeeeetttttttyyyy rare. Digital... They never run out, unless they take it down.
